Working with the Massachusetts State Lottery, The Patriots, based in Boston, on Thursday unveiled their plans.


Former NFL Super Bowl Champions, the New England Patriots, are planning to develop the first licensed lottery ticket to feature a professional football team.

 Historically, the NFL and other professional sports leagues in the U.S. have been reluctant to partner with gaming organizations; for fear that there would be worries over whether the gaming pacts would influence the outcome of games.

But this instant ticket takes that concern off the table, as it is a conventional instant ticket, a scratch off ticket, which happens to be branded with the world-famous Patriots' logo.

The new lottery ticket is expected to debut this year, according to officials at the NFL team .
